With love in every stitch

This tree is one of many near my home that bloom this time of year. I don't know the name of it, though. If there are any tree experts out there, you are invited to tell me the name. The flowers cluster like snowballs on the branches. Anyhow, they bloom for only about a week or so and then the petals start to fall like big snowflakes drifting down.
I hope that you can make out this photo. I embroidered the lower left corner block of the butterfly quilt. I sent a photo of the quilt to Jan Mullen, and she was so nice and sent me a complimentary e-mail. This quilt is now finished! And I have quilted half of the tea cup quilt now.

How sweet! I'm sure it must be gratifying to a designer to realize how many people make their quilts. Love the embroidery!

Gorgeous tree!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. You asked how I made my tree. I just drew it out freehand and then appliqued it. I find that is the easiest way to achieve the look you want. Goodluck!

Congratulation on your Butterfly quilt. It is very nice and I love the machine quilting. The tree looks gorgeous but I can´t help you. Take care.
