Here's my Star quilt, all completed! I'm quite pleased with the result. Now I'm going on to the next project, which is making a flannel quilt. It is intended to be for a donation, and I'm using some of the flannel scraps that I have hanging around here--as it were. I promised for a Challenge on Pieces From my Scrapbag Blog which is http://finnleah.blogspot.com
that I would complete the flannel quilt before New Years! Meanwhile, the Thanksgiving embroidery is nearly done. I hope to post that one someday soon. Also, I slipped in a photo of a baby sweater that I knitted. I love making baby things--it's like they say about eating peanuts--you can't eat only one. (Golly, in my case I really cannot eat actual peanuts.) Anyhow, the directions for this sweater are free from Lion Brand Yarn. http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/50678AD.html
I like raglan sweaters because they are knitted all in one piece.

Nice job on the quilt and the sweater.
The link you listed for the sweater does not work; would you mind sending it to me? Thanks
Do you deepen your seams when you use flannel? I do, because the weave is looser and I don't want it to start coming undone. I deepen to 3/8" seam. Just cut your patches bigger to accommodate the seam. So if you need a 2" square finished cut it at 2.75" and use a 3/8" seam. HTH.
The baby sweater is adorable. I can see how it would be hard to stop at just one :- )
Does the star quilt have a destination or is it to keep on hand for an emergency? I have no doubt you can get a flannel quilt made between now and New Year's.
Your stars quilt is very cute! That's an idea I need to remember for more of the crumb blocks that I have.
Your baby sweater is adorable. I made one - crocheted it for my daughter. The sleeves were waaayyyy too long for her! But she wore it anyway! *grin*
Lovely quilt! Cute baby cardigan too.
Wonderful quilt.
