working on the Get-Well quilt

I've been doing a lot of sewing today.  I did manage to vacuum and go swimming, too.  I guess that I'm "well rounded" and that's in more ways than one!  Anyway, I sewed this lap-sized quilt top together and I cut out the borders.  I'm putting on white borders and plan to use a bright color for the binding.  I might add on more than that white border--I'll decide later.  My granddaughters received their quilts that I made with their names sewn in.  So that's a good thing.  They love them.  Have to wait for colder weather to use those quilts, though.

I love the quilts you've been making. It's what happens when life goes on in blog land without me. computer crashes just interrupt my visits.
I love white as any accent...it just pops the other colours.

We got the quilts and we love them. Auntie brought them over to us, and when she handed out the packages she said, "Oh dear, Grandma didn't put your names on the bags." The girls said "That's OK. We'll know whose is whose as soon as we open them!"
--Thanks a million. It's a pleasure and an honor to own your special works of art "with love in every stitch."
